Introduction
The CBA WEBSEARCH has proven to be a valuable resource for association members and other industry professionals who use the Internet to locate products and services for the entire Christian retail industry industry. This information resource uses powerful search technology that continually indexes the content of participating supplier Web sites. Users have the option of performing keyword-driven searches that mirror traditional search engines, or a category-specific search. Both methods produce the most relevant results on the Web.
The CBA WEBSEARCH also incorporates a desktop search mechanism, allowing visitors to download a free application that makes the directory accessible from the user’s computer desktop. In addition, the directory has implemented Request For Information (RFI) functionality, allowing visitors to contact suppliers with the click of a button. Both features are becoming increasingly popular among users of the CBA WEBSEARCH and are a valuable business opportunity for suppliers to advertise in the directory.
Who is searching the CBA WEBSEARCH?
Members of the Association for Christian Retail (CBA) are using the CBA WEBSEARCH on a daily basis.
But the directory isn’t limited to association members. Other Christian retailers including independents, regional and national chains, church-owned stores, franchises, and marketing groups are using the directory as well. These industry professionals spend $4.6 billion a year on products and services your company offers.
And when these professionals are ready to buy, they turn to the CBA WEBSEARCH to cut through the clutter of traditional search engine results.
Why complete a listing in the CBA WEBSEARCH?
The CBA WEBSEARCH has been created specifically for serious buyers of your product or service. Purchasing a listing in the directory ensures that your company’s brand and message are delivered directly to those that matter most to your business. The CBA is recognized as a leader in the industry. And Christian retailers including independents, regional and national chains, church-owned stores, franchises, and marketing groups turn to the association as the informational source in the industry.
With traditional search results, your company’s listing becomes one in a million. But searching through the CBA WEBSEARCH presents relevant search results to pre-qualified, committed buyers. Completing a listing in the directory will cost your company less advertising dollars than participating in the pay-per-click campaigns of the major search engines and delivers better results.
Your complete listing in the CBA WEBSEARCH will feature your company logo and description, contact information and company Web site and e-mail link. The listing will be grouped into categories of your choice to enable efficient searching.
How do industry professionals find the CBA WEBSEARCH?
A link to the CBA WEBSEARCH is prominently displayed on the CBA Web site (http://www.cbaonline.org). The directory can also be found at http://cbawebsearch.com.
The CBA WebSearch will also be distributed as a CD application at the International Christian Retail Show, held July 12-16, 2009 in Denver. The show is expected to draw over 2,800 attendees.
